About Us

aBOUT US

In many African cultures, knowledge and wisdom have traditionally been passed down through generations orally, often conveyed through stories and music. However, the absence of substantial audiovisual documentation has contributed to the erosion of authentic information about the lifestyle , values and customs of our ancestors. We acknowledge that a significant portion of this heritage is diminishing as we lose key people in our ancient societies; wisdom custodians, healers, creatives.

This realization motivates us to look for answers of questions such as ; What was the expression of spirituality in Africa? What was the role of music in spirituality? What was the relationship of our ancestors with the divine? What remnants of our African history can we restructure into stories, music, governance and other areas of life to advance and to solve specific challenges that we are facing currently as a human race?
